I've been busy writing and trying to promote my work. Trying. Oh yes, trying. Let me inject a hearty laugh here *bwhahahaha* It's tough to be an Indie Author. Well, no. It's not. It's tough to do it all. All. All of it by yourself. *inject a look of delirium here* But I wouldn't trade this job for nothing *yes, I meant 'nothing'*
I thought I'd share what's been going on with me.
1. I'm working on the final book in the Finding Me trilogy. It's coming on nicely and I love how my characters have changed. It has a great story arch. But I might be biased in my assessment. To keep me honest, everyone should run out and grab a copy of the first two books and companion novella.
2. I'm being featured on Platypire Reviews site for two weeks. I'm actually taking over the Platypire Facebook page tomorrow. Eeek! I mean today. Come listen to me talk books, movies, and superheroes.
3. I don't really have Valentines plans. *Gasp* I'm tired. I told my hubby that I wanted didn't want to go out at all on Saturday. I might go see a movie on Friday - not sure yet.
4. The hubs and I went bowling with a few friends on this past weekend. I didn't bowl. I sat in a corner and read. But I was very personable and talked politely whenever someone came over to rudely interrupt my reading. It was nice seeing old friends.
What have you been up to?
Have a great day. Read a book and laugh!
Good stuff! I'm editing for clients, getting ready for my cover reveal on Friday, and celebrating The Monster Within being the Kindle Daily Deal today. :)
ReplyDeleteYay about the Monster Within. I'm going to share this as a post today on Platypire Reviews. Congrats again!
DeleteHi, Dawn! I did an interview on Platypire Reviews on Monday. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your writing this week.
Thanks, Karen. I'm enjoying my time there right now.
DeleteHi Dawn,
ReplyDeleteWow, you're really making progress! I have a few stories I'm working on. I'd like to finish a few of them this year and publish one.
I'm revising a short story and reading 2 books (The Boundless ~ a middle-grade fiction and All the Lights ~ an adult historical fiction). Have fun taking over the FB page! I haven't heard of Platypire Reviews but will pop by the website right after this.
